Control IT Yourself.com develops, markets, and sells a Web based software application that allows you to establish a professional Web communication system at a minimal cost.

When you sign up for our system, you will be asked a series of questions about your business type, location, environment, etc. With this information our system will place you in a category, to which you are not confined, that will kick-start your Web site onto the right track. It is quick and easy. Just point and click and you are on your way to creating a great Web site available for the world to see.

As a member of our system you have full control over the structure, size, and content of your Web site. You are able to add up to 100 customized sections and pages. Custom pages are editable "in context" with our intuitive and dynamic, What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) site editor. Within the editor, you view your site just as it will appear to the public. To edit paragraphs, titles, captions, or images you simply click on them. This will open the content block in our pop-up WYSIWYG editor, allowing you to type & format text or add & edit images as you would in a word processor.

You are also able to choose from multiple professionally designed site layouts, called "Themes." Each theme offers multiple color schemes as well as seasonal schemes. You will choose a color scheme, and then be able to activate as many seasonal schemes as you like. Your Web site will then automatically change to a seasonal scheme during the appropriate season, and change back when that season is over. Your site's theme and scheme may be changed at any time. These features may seem like "fluff", but they are, in fact, paramount to your ability to brand and customize your site to fit your community. A diversity of stores with a diversity of customers requires a diversity of site appearances. For instance, autumn leaves on a site for a southern Arizona store would seem out of place, as would images of skyscrapers in rural Minnesota.

A wizard is a powerful interactive help utility that guides you through potentially complex tasks. Our easy-to-use wizards will walk you through tasks such as: marketing your site on the web; managing your banners; organizing your site; uploading images; adding new sections, pages, and content blocks; etc.

Knowledge of HTML is not required to use our system, and there are no time consuming software downloads. All you need is Microsoft Internet Explorer (Versions 5.0+) and an Internet connection. If you can use a word processor, then you will have no problem building a great Web site with Control IT Yourself.com. On the other hand, for those of you who are comfortable behind a mouse and keyboard, our system is very flexible and powerful. (Note: Although you will need Internet Explorer to use the advanced functionality of our system, your Web site can be viewed with any browser.)

The most common objection we hear from storeowners is "I DON'T HAVE TIME". As storeowners ourselves, we know how busy you are. That is why Control IT Yourself.com gives you the power to create your Web site and forget about it. Your Web site can always look fresh and vibrant without your constant attention when you subscribe to our community pages and seasonal schemes. The choice is yours, make all the changes yourself, make your site completely self-maintaining, or anything in between. By subscribing to our community content pages and seasonal schemes, your site will maintain a dynamic look and feel, while requiring little to no maintenance.

You can come back at any time. Just log in and have at it! Remember to always be on the lookout for misspelled words on your Web site. Control IT Yourself.com's User Security Model makes this an easy task. Just ask your friends, family, and staff to log on and review your site before you hit the publish button. You have worked hard to establish a reputation for professionalism and excellence in your community; don't jeopardize that reputation by having unprofessional content on your Web site.
